This park was amazing! I loved that it’s mostly enclosed, which made it feel safe and easy to relax while the kids played. The sandpit and toddler area are separate but still close together, which worked out really well. The bathrooms were clean, the grounds were beautiful and very well maintained, and there were nice paved pathways to walk around. The staff at the ticket booth was also really friendly and helpful. This park truly has so much to offer and is great for families

Pullen has NC’s oldest carousel. The train ride is very special for children. Holiday Express event tickets sell immediately but are a wonderful family event. The park offers paddle boats, playgrounds, picnic venues, snack shack, visitor center and hosts sensory friendly events as well. Highly recommended for families visiting Raleigh.

Pullen Park is such a charming and family-friendly spot in Raleigh! The park is beautifully maintained with scenic walking paths shaded by tall trees, plus a peaceful pond that makes for a relaxing stroll. It’s well organized and offers plenty of activities that children and adults alike will enjoy. We had planned to try the pedal boats, but since they’re only available on weekends, we opted for the train ride instead. The train was a delightful experience and a fun way to see more of the park while enjoying the breeze. Although the day was a bit too hot for us to stay long, we still had a wonderful time. On a cooler day, this would be the perfect place to spend hours enjoying the outdoors, picnicking, or simply exploring. Overall, Pullen Park is a gem in the area and a must-visit for families. We can’t wait to return! Cheers 🥂

Cute place to see decorated for Christmas. The train for the kids looked like fun. Not as long of a walk that I would have wanted but great if you have littles.

Experienced the Holiday express event. The train ride is approximately 4mins long, round trip. The park offers various things for kids to interact with, to include a snowball fight (soft round foam balls). The walk around the lake was great! The food, however, was mediocre. $4 for chocolate water (hot chocolate) $4 for a hotdog $9 for a cheeseburger $7 for cheese quesadilla $4 for french fries Recommend eat before or after visiting.
