This groomer did a good job with my cat. The first time I went in June was a great experience. She was done within an hour and was very clean and smelled nice. The second time I went I made an appointment for 11:30am and was told she would not be ready until 2:30. I was confused as my first time coming here it was not that long. He explained to my boyfriend that he was very busy today with other animals. I can understand being busy, however, if your website says you have 11:30am available for a cat grooming then I expect my cat to be seen at that time. We then left and came back. We arrived to pick her up at 2:30 as told and were told 15-20 more mins. 20 mins later we went back in and were told she’s drying off. I was not able to go in and speak for myself due to just having a procedure done. While these grooming do a great job with grooming and cleaning, waiting for over three hours with an appointment is ridiculous. If you realize you are backed up for whatever reason as a business owner that is your job to communicate with the client prior to their appointment time. I made this appointment about two weeks before the date. If you are aware that a cat may take longer than other animals, don’t overbook yourself and give your clients lame excuses as to why it’s taking so long! When she came out at 3:30 I noticed that her nails were bleeding and split. When I went in the confront him and he was very dismissive stating this was normal and he doesn’t care where we go it’ll be the same thing. He said it’ll be the same thing if I cut my own nails. I said sir am I the professional or you?! Like I’m confused. He did not apologize all he said is I’m fixing it now right. Like sir and?? Does that make a difference that my cat is in pain? You can at least apologize what kind of business are you running. Someone reading this if you can let me know who I can contact to get this business reported.
I took my baby Yorkie to PuppyPlayground Saturday May 2nd 2025. The owner was very persistent on handling Bella with care as I did express my previous traumatic experiences with grooming my baby. Nonetheless, I gave it a shot! Once I dropped Bella off I asked how long it should be. The owner said 3 hours. Cool. I waited in the shop the whole entire time. In case anything would happen I would be right there because again I did express my past experiences and my hesitancy this time around. I showed the owner a picture of how I wanted Bella to be cut. Everything was even and shaped perfectly for her little face. He came out about 2 hours in and asked how I wanted her, I showed him a picture again and he remembered and referred to his phone. Cool. Np. It was busy and that’s understandable. About 3 in a half hours went by and Bella was finally done. She came out and her cut was cute. A little uneven and choppy but again it was low enough to suffice for the hot summer weather ahead. Once we got home I examined her face a little closer as she was less anxious and comfortable now. I recognized that she was cut on the bridge of her nose and limping because her paw had been cut too and was visibly red. NOT ONCE DID ANYONE COME OUT AND SPEAK TO ME OR LET ME KNOW OF ANYTHING THAT WAS GOING ON. I had to Inquire each and every time I wanted to know if she was okay or the progress overall. (HORRIBLE) I’ve tried to contact them since Saturday . Here we are Monday afternoon and still I cannot get any communication. Definitely would not recommend and will not be back. Customer service is a vital element when it comes to business owners and being that my last experience was traumatic as well a little reassurance would’ve went a long way in building cliente and rapport with me as a returning customer.
Awesome groomers! Best in Westchester! My wife and I took our goldendoodle to Puppy Playground without an appointment and they took her same day on the spot. We had a great experience!
I haven’t taken my dog here, but over the weekend I witnessed something that pushed me to finally leave this review. While I was parked outside getting ready for a hair appointment, I saw one of their groomers lift a dog by the leash and basically toss the dog into a car. It was disgusting. He clearly knew it was wrong because he made eye contact with me and rushed back into the shop. After seeing that, I can’t imagine what goes on inside. I will never take my dog here.
My Rollie jumped off the table -way to make a first impression buddy. PuppyPlayground staff caught my meat missle midair AND his grooming was no joke the best ever. We are soooooooooooo thankful. Will definitely be back….if you’ll have us. 🫠
