The walking trails are in the woods and you do share the trails with bicyclists. When it's very hot and humid out it's nice to walk in the shaded areas amongst the trees. Keep in mind when walking on these trails there are a lot of tree roots and you are walking on a clay surface and there's lots of walking up and down the inclines. The clay soil was dry so I didn't have to worry about slipping and sliding as I was walking up and down the little inclines. I thoroughly enjoyed the law. On the way out of the wooded area I heard some children's voices I walked toward and I saw the starting of a birthday party. There were pine needles on the ground and made it nice for walking and someone had made several teepees out of tree trunks, it was really cool.

2025.08.01 ~05:50 arrived Purser-Hulsey Park, parked and out i went on an ~6 mi CW Loop of the neighborhood, and at end, Purser-Hulsey Park. The neighborhood, Windsor Park, Rice Park, and Purser-Hulsey Park were nice, well-maintained and clean. During my ~2 hrs of walk, encountered a total of 10+ people and 3 dogs; everyone was cheery and friendly 👍🙃

This park is really beautiful. Have been multiple times with family and my dog. Several different trails based on what you’re in the mood for. You might even see some deer like i did on the longer trails. We painted some rocks to bring and contribute and there is also a little free library. So fun! Will always come back.

This park has adorable trails filled with cute painted rocks, decoration, and thoughtful touches. We did the main loop with the enchanted trail loop and it was an easy walk through oak and pine forests. It’s not suitable for strollers as it’s open forest with roots and small steep inclines/declines. Also, there are a few small spots where the biking and walking trails are together so I would only bring dogs that will sit still while bikes come past since the trail is skinny.

Loved taking the kids on the trails that connect to Andulusian Dr and go into the bike/walking trails. The kids had a great time hunting for rocks even though many are covered by leaves right now due to the season. We had thought we would make it to the park but short legs get tired quickly. I attempted to take a stroller on the trail 🤪 but there are too many roots to make that a good idea. We turned around before we got close to the actual park which disappointed the kids. However, they had a wonderful time exploring, being in nature and finding rocks. We went on a Saturday and spent about 1.5 hours and saw about 6 bikers and 4 other walkers. When we left we walked down Andulusian Drive at Percheron Court to visit the horses. Lovely Outing with Littles!
