Visited the Quarry Lakes Recreational Area today. Beautiful day walking the wide gravel paths around and between the bodies of waters. Swimming area was closed, but there were lots of people fishing. There were many families and groups walking the paths, but it did not feel crowded at all. Lots of parking ($5), picnic tables with grills and restrooms. Non motorized boats can launch from the boat ramp, though it is plagued by toxic algae at this time.

Really nice lake park with trails around it. A lot of people walking the trails, families included, fishing, biking...etc. It was our first time and our family loved it. It was calm and beautiful. Park Ranger said the water is not suitable for swimming due to excessive amount of toxic algae and E.Coli, so the lake "beach" has been closed for a long time.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I visited Quarry Lakes Regional Park today with boarding dog, and it was such a wonderful experience! As a pet sitter, I’m always looking for clean, peaceful, and pet-friendly places—and this park checks all the boxes. The walking trails are wide and well maintained, perfect for dogs of all sizes. Today, we saw three deer, countless geese, and plenty of playful squirrels. There are beautiful flowers all around, and we even came across some wild raspberries and mock strawberries. Parking is $5 per day with unlimited in-and-out access (card only, no cash). It’s a great value considering how much there is to explore here. Whether you’re walking your dog, enjoying time with family, or just need a quiet place to relax, I highly recommend Quarry Lakes. I’ll definitely be bringing more of my furry guests here again!

Teeming with species of beautiful birds. Even saw a bald eagle caught a big fish! This park is a gem, right in the middle of the city. Easy access and ample parking. Well worth the $5. Hike around the lakes, fishing, non-motorized boating, beach, picnic. Easily spend 2+ hours here.
