Well, as dog parks go not a bad patch and lots friendly people and dogs. Sunny day is great and we go often and enjoy the flower and gardens in QE Park. Parking is good. However On rainy days (many in Vancouver), it's terrible as the rain doesn't drain though patch is elevated. Grass is patchy at best, and other areas just surprisingly muddy.

In general, great mannered dogs of all sizes and responsible owners at this park which allows for lots of fun to be had by all! For those that are budget wise, free street parking is usually ample just below the paid lot.

Dog Off-Leash area, unfenced. This is very spacious, and wide spot for dog to roam free. Nice and friendly people in the area. It has very muddy areas, so be ready so get dirty.

A large open area for off-leash dog activities. The flat field is perfect for throwing frisbee. No fenced-in area, so if that’s a dealbreaker this is not the place for you and your pup. Along 37th there’s a ‘naturalized area’ pilot project - described as a Pollinator Meadow with long grass and flowers. Lots of trees and shade to be found. The nearby tennis and pickle ball courts are noisy except when it’s raining 😉. The whole park is great with spectacular views, gardens, and the arboretum. Growing up in Vancouver, we always called this park ‘Little Mountain’. You’ll get a workout walking around the hilly terrain.

Tennis, lawn bowling, pitch 'n putt, and great views of Vancouver. The conservatory and display garden make it an especially attractive destination for the older crowd. I always park for free a couple of blocks from the park.
