A very clean, nice and open park. Tons of trails and different scenery depending on what side of the park you are on. There’s grassy fields, a couple of playgrounds, a fitness area, ponds with fish in there and tons of benches and shady trees. We saw the train pass by on one side of the park, you have the city landscape in the background, a coffee and other little shops across the way, a stadium across the street. There’s free parking on the street on the weekends.

4.5 stars Great park centrally located across from Regions Field. Nothing was open as far as vendors or even restrooms as far as I could tell, but security was walking around. Great place to jog, walk your dog, and generally just hang out. Large playground with plenty of water features and accessible walking paths. BLACK LIVES MATTERS painted on the street, which I appreciated... thank you Birmingham. Quiet day on a Saturday late morning but definitely got a little busier by the time I left.

I love the fact that there is so much space to work with in this park, it feels so open and spacious. About as good as a park as you're going to get with a little touch of railroad and train noise to go with it. 🚂🚋🚃🚋🚃🚋🚃 Environment: Everything is so colorful, photographers will love it here, and so with families, kids and people who regularly exercise. Wish I could taken more but there was just so much beautiful scenery and nature. I've seen people with towels laying on the grass because apparently it is very soft so that might be a cool idea for stargazing. Not really much else to say, except the fact that it is a city park and they are underrated however coming at around 4:30 PM on a weekday, that is a lot of people. Whenever you're in Birmingham, PLSS GO!! 😇😇

Spacious, beautiful and has lots of small creeks/runoffs that really add to the beauty! The restrooms were cleaner than I expected, although there wasn’t any paper towels available. Air dry was the way! LOL There was a gentleman set up to take photos for Easter. He was charging $30 for 5 photos that he edited and airdropped to your phone. I was so glad he was there offering this service! I loved the nostalgia of the ice cream trucks there! Expect to pay $3-$5 for an ice cream. I remember asking my parents for CHANGE for the ice cream truck. Now I have adequately aged myself. 😆

Our favorite park in town. Plenty of space to put a blanket down and Louie to roll around in the sunshine
