Railroad Park

Is indeed by a railroad. Not a ton of things to do besides the playground, but there is a lot of grass area for sports. There is a small pavilion and parking lot.

Two sets of swings & slides of all kind. My 3 yr old definitely enjoys the park. Pretty cool next to the railroad with an old train sitting here. One picnic table 🧺 covered. There's also a trail and a good size little field down a slight hill or down the trail.

This is where my grandson has football practice.

Nice black path along the perimeter. I like to walk my leashed dog here. We use doggy bags here but many people choose not to.. Grassy areas have never been maintained and grass isn't good. Some new trees have been planted to replace dead trees and to add trees in other areas. Nice playground equipment for kids. Often people allow their unleashed dogs to roam the park. Overall the city spends little time, effort, or money on this neighborhood park.

Great spot for walking with your spouse! We even walk in colder weather because we're off the streets and away from traffic. Quiet and great walking trail around and through the whole park.
