I recently visited Ralph V. Chisholm Regional Park at 4700 Chisholm Park Trail, St. Cloud, FL, and had an amazing experience! The park is located right on the shores of East Lake Tohopekaliga, providing stunning waterfront views that make it perfect for family picnics, gatherings, or simply a peaceful day outdoors. There are plenty of pavilions for rent, ideal for hosting parties, and the park is well-equipped with amenities like a lighted boat ramp, restrooms, and clean picnic areas. For families with children, the playground is a highlight. It features modern, safe play structures with swings, slides, and climbing areas, all set on a soft surface to ensure kids can play freely and safely. The playground is shaded by trees, and parents can relax on nearby benches while watching their little ones have fun. Its proximity to the beach area makes it easy to enjoy both land and water activities in one visit. In addition to the playground, the park offers two miles of scenic hiking and equestrian trails, a volleyball area, and a softball field, making it a great spot for active visitors. The combination of natural beauty, well-maintained facilities, and a family-friendly atmosphere makes this park a top recommendation for anyone visiting the St. Cloud area.

Great view of the water with beach sand. Huge open field with covered seating/tables. A lot of trees. Can easily walk a mile around the area without running into the same thing twice. Baseball field. Restrooms. There's even two hammocks. Great spot to spend time and relax.

What a cute park. Not sure it’s worth it to go out of your way from Orlando for it, but if you are in the area I would for sure go here. Great hammocks, and the TREES! Park was very clean. Playground looked fun for kids. Clean bathrooms too.

What a great place. Drove up for a Civil War re-enactment battle (highly recommend, done in late March - well done with a great bunch of folks...just watch out for the root beer lady though..she is cranky!) This park is right on the beach with plenty of picnic spots and beach front for the young ones. You can drive within a few hundred feet of the beach.

I give this park a 4.8 rating. It's spacious, with many family friendly amenities (bathrooms, playground, ball fields, etc.). I especially like the shade provided by the large oak trees, and they have a pavilion as well as a boat ramp. It's in St. Cloud, so it might be considered a far drive for some folks. Overall, it's nice park to enjoy the real Florida!
