We chose Ravines because of the location. After selling our home we didn't want to disrupt our kids schooling. So the good is location, location, location. My spouse is a veteran so we wanted something quiet and in the back as to put space between us and the loquaciousness of the front. That didn't last long of course. Initially there was nothing in the lease about smoking. I noticed in the 2024 renewal they added it was a non smoking property. Although from the moment I moved in until I drove off of the property for the last time, I would see smokers puffing away. I mention smoking because that seemed to be my neighbor "B" main complaint. Somehow my partner smoking in the garage always trailed into her unit. She called Tayler so much they offered her another unit, she declined. Let me not forget to mention that I spoke with office up until about two months before our departure and I was told as long as he smoked outside it was not a problem. "M'' was her saving grace, I guess they could see eye to eye. (wink wink). Oh but let's not forget to mention the incessant dog barking, dog pooping without picking it up, dog running free without leash, or the dog sitting. I guess those things were allowed as long as....... well who knows. Because I was home most days I would see people walking their dogs allowing them poop then just walk away. I went to sit on the patio when it was warmer and there were at least 30 to 40 dog piles around our patio area. Needless to say I was pissed. I have nothing against dogs. I actually like them a great deal but if you choose to be a dog owner that shouldn't affect the next person in anyway. The property itself on the other hand didn't feel built for longevity. We had a constant mold issue in the master bathroom. They did bring a humidifier to help off set the mold and it did help somewhat. The toilet seats in all three bathrooms needed to be replaced. They kept breaking. Don't touch the blinds because they break just as easily. Tayler was a dear about making sure things were replaced. We had a leak issue from the pipes above the hallway outside of the laundry area. When the repairmen came, they said, "these pipes should have been wrapped with foam to prevent the condensation." We had that leak and the cut open ceiling a lot longer than we should have that's for sure. I guess by the time they got to our unit they were ready to be done. Who knows....... I've seen other reviews referencing the trash issue so I won't go over that too much. I will attach photos. When I first moved to Ravines there were 3 maintenance men for the property. So I'm not sure how they went from 3 to 1, as if the size of the property changed. Due to the issues with the pool, it was only open for about a month. Maybe this summer the residents will have a different experience. The space in the office is wasted. They should put a gym where the ping pong table is. That would definitely make the property more appealing. We are building now but everywhere we looked to rent offered a 24 hour gym. Just my opinion. I'll end by saying we have never been late on our rent, on top of the extra $250 for month to month, receiving an email from the office about their "business decision." Was the best thing for my family.

I have lived at the Ravines at Taylor for the past 3+ years since they were built and have gone through 3 (?) different management companies, all which were fine. The positives include the new-build apartments, en suite bathrooms, pets allowed, decent wifi/streaming included for $75 added to rent, a beautiful pool, and food trucks on Wednesdays. There have been issues with the trash compactor but I believe that has more to do with the tenants not using it correctly and less with it not functioning properly. Last year the pool opened late into the summer season leaving it only open for about a month of use but hopefully it will open on time under new management. The new management has also changed their hours to stay open until 6pm which is helpful to those who work until 5 every day. Maintenance has always responded quickly when needed and any issues with rent/extra charges have been resolved quickly with a phone call or email. It is located less than a mile from Kroger and Sheetz and is close to shopping. I have had my car broken into but I also did not lock it that night. That happens in many neighborhoods. Extra parking is an issue. A lot of tenants use their garages for storage and take up tu extra parking spaces which can be frustrating when you have company. I have friendly neighbors who are pleasant and keep to themselves. I never hear them through the walls of my apartment. Overall I have had a great experience living at The Ravines at Taylor, plan on staying another year or 2, and would recommend.

I just moved into Ravines at Taylor and it's been a couple of months. From the beginning of my application fee to looking at the model of the apartment, Kevin the owner and Myndi have been amazing. Start to finish Myndi and maintenance Jermaine have been more than helpful and amazing. For Jermaine to be the only maintenence guy there he sure knows how to get the job done! He is awesome and deserves his flowers for being the ONLY maintenance man keeping up with all those apartments out there. My stay here has been very peaceful and comfortable. To be honest its the best apartment living I have lived in. Myndi and Jermaine are the sweetest ever and always greets you with a warm smile and are more than happy to help you whenever you need it. It's really quiet out here and I barely hear my neighbors. The neighbors I have met so far have been very friendly. I am looking forward to the swimming pool opening in the summer. They also have amazing different food trucks that come out every Wednesday to our apartment complex which is a plus. Please keep that going. I hope it continues throughout the spring and summer that would be even more of a hit! All in all....Myndi and Jermaine keep up with the AWESOME job that you are doing! Kudos 👏🏼 to you both! 😊

I would describe this as a no-frills apartment community. There are essentially no amenities: no gym or dedicated workout area. The dog park is very basic, just a small fenced-in grassy area near the front of the community. The pool often opens late in the summer season, which can be frustrating. Management doesn’t do much to incentivize tenants once you renew your lease - things like complimentary carpet cleaning, which many communities offer, are not provided. My air filters have not been changed since I moved in over a year ago. Management tries to address the trash compactor issue but despite their efforts, when it overflows and sits even for a day or two, this still affects the overall look and feel of this community. The apartments themselves are nice and fairly new, but in a few years, this will likely look like just another average apartment community with $1800-2000 rent. For the amount of rent you’re paying, I would suggest if you want better service, amenities, and overall experience look elsewhere. It’s not the worst place to live, but it’s far from the best.

I was not looking forward to finding a new home to rent. We really like the Ravines at Taylor and Myndi sealed the deal for us. Although we haven’t moved in yet she has been a pleasure from the start. We have family who currently lives at the Ravines and they are pleased with the community. After meeting Myndi it was a no brainer.
