The dog park is split into 3 sections. Why are the 2 largest parts reserved for dogs 25 lbs or under. That makes zero sense considering the smallest part is for large dogs and trick training. What about fetch and return training for any size dog? What about sprinter dogs that need wide open areas? It's absolutely stupid to have 2 of the biggest areas designated to 25 lbs and under dogs without considering another dog's potential. We live in upstate NY. How much of the demographic have dogs that couldn't benefit from the wide open space above the weight of 25 lbs.? This is isolating a good number of people, and for what? I really do not understand the 25lbs rule for the largest areas and I need to understand. In the meantime, I'm going to continue bring my 45lbs beagle aussie to the 25lbs sections. How the 25lbs rule is administered makes absolutely zero sense

Wow, what a nice big dog park with 3 gated areas - big dogs (>25lbs), small dogs (

Best dog park in our area! Lots of open space for dogs to run and play. 3 different sections, one for large dogs, agility training, and one for small dogs. Very well kept by volunteers. It is our pups favorite place to be!

Our corgi Mabel approves of this park! There’s a big dog, small dog and agility/obstacle course section here. They maintain the grass and facilities very nicely as well. Lots of room for walking and everyone was friendly and inviting. Only issue is the parking lot for the dog park has major cracks and potholes, so please drive carefully and don’t speed! Lots of children and dogs are around. Overall, we loved this park and are willing to drive out a little further to visit!

I really enjoyed this dog park. Sometimes the small dog areas are tiny, and my doxie-terrier mix loves to run. But, the small dog area here was nice and large, and he enjoyed running with another dog. The agility area was nice as well, cushy to walk on. A few days after I went in March 2024, someone started smashing car windows and stealing purses. So don't leave any valuables in plain sight while you're there with your dogs.
