First time coming here. It is beautiful. Nice walk ways with lots of trees for shade and very abundant wildlife.

I would imagine this park was beautiful prior to my first visit with my son and his schoolmates. Open, pond, and acres complement the trails. Unfortunately, the children's play area has fallen in disrepair. Patches will not stop rotting, rusty steel playground. The county passed 7-0, the purchase of 400 plus acres last week. Plans of a motorway are uncertain. Maintain the parks we have. I visited a small number of Volusia County parks. All of them need repairs. Commissioners most likely haven't a need to visit what they vote on.

Thank you to the City of South Daytona for letting us be involved in the BBQ and Bluegrass festival!! We look forward to being there again in 2026.

I love this park !! Clean wide open space for kicking a ball around with my grandson without worrying about cars/parkinglot/traffic. Monkey bars are low enough for a 4 year old to practice his Parkour skills :)
