Beautiful park with many facilities. From tennis to basketball and even two high quality disc golf courses. If you are traveling through Charlotte this is definitely a good option to stop and play. Though there is no shortage of amazing wishlist quality courses. Just be sure to make your lines here or you will be very deep in the woods.

2025.01.05 ~10:00, sunny 40s_F, clear blue sky, i did a walkabout Rennaisance Park and W Tyvola neighborhood. Saw a total of 20+ people and 2 dogs in the Park. The trails and side-walks were in good condition and clean 👍

Barely more than a chip shot from Charlotte International Airport and just off busy W. Tyvola Road, the tranquil park is a pleasant and wide-open refuge that feels miles away from the city. Good spot for active (disc golf, beach volleyball, skateboarding, etc.) and passive (walking/hiking/cloud-gazing) recreation.

Bring your dogs. Bring them now! 😀 Bring them all. Definately the Best Charlotte Dog Park. For something that is a city community park, this definitely deserves an Extra Extra Extra ⭐️

The park is magnificent. At the time I went (4p), it was clean and had great weather. Elements such as The open walking trail, the ballparks, volleyball court and dog parks were splendid. I would recommend anyone who has a dog, a hunch for outdoor sports, or just doing some outside exercise!
