Great, beautiful river below the outdoors highly recommend if you’d like fishing only 1 mile walking. From nearest truckstop. Nice fish.
I like the way the park was spread out all along the shoreline so wherever you had your picnic you were on the water
Great park with something for everyone. The playground is great and the path by the river is suitable for walking or bikes.
This time of the year, they plow the walks after the storms but due to the wind can drift if there is much snow. Summers there isn't a lot of shade but nice benches to stop and rest. Good birding in spring especially. Have had beaver, mink, and otters in the river. Also a red fox.fishing is good from the bank, have seen17" trout caught.
Beautiful walk by the river.
