This park has been a great place for the community; I'm not sure why it says "permanently closed" but the community garden is regularly used by a local collective called Semillas Wellness, opening it up to the public for workshops and events. There is also always people of various ages walking or jogging by which is very refreshing to see. I recommend more community members visiting this park and showing the city it's a needed space.

Thanks to the City of Lynwood for creating areas like this for the public to use and get active and also give a nature space and make the city look nice.

The park is ok. I walk my dog through here a lot. Unfortunately, some homeless people have started living in the park near the 105 freeway and they leave their garbage everywhere. The weeds are getting very tall in the park too after the rainy winter.

I walk this park nearly every day and honestly the park is nice save the fact that there is always broken glass on the ground that is never cleaned up (it just slowly gets broken down over time by ppl walking on it which is not a good solution). There is also an issue with dog waste that could easily be fixed but putting in dog bag stations as they’ve done with other parks. It’s also ridiculous that they’ve kept the water fountains off in the middle of summer!

It was lovely the spoungy matt under the playground was great. The lil playground eas perfect for my toddler. The neighborhood is nice. There was some graffite but im sure that due to covid the cleaning has stopped.
