Ridge Park

We live right around the block and have enjoyed it very much. It's a clean and equipment is kept well. Both my grandkids enjoy it very much, often hear kids playing and enjoying. They also have a half court.

Unfortunately I have a bad experience twice already with the emergency room. Last time, Monday, March 3/2025.. My son, almost 38 years old is bipolar, my daughter call the police for a safety check up, he end in the emergency room. I went there 1/2 hour later. I couldn’t see him, I was interview by an older nurse, she told me that my son didn’t fill the criteria after telling that he was not able to sleep for several days, that he was buying many things, he was not eating. I asked for a medication that helped him sleep. She told me that the hospital didn’t accept his insurance and they Can not do any thing because he was already an adult. That the best thing for me is to call the police and ask my son to leave the house. The discharge my son and minutes later they told me that he was discharged. I went out I couldn’t see him. He was by the maternity/ day surgery side, very disoriented. My question is Why they didn’t released to me. Today is Saturday, he is trying to be normal, at times he acts normal and at times he is manic and depressed. It was hard to take him to the ER. Now I don’t know what to do. Saint Alexus is the hospital that the ambulance will take him because is the closest hospital. Other thing I told the nurse is that he was not mentally capable to drive and that I was worry for him and for the other drivers. I also offer to pay for the medication that he needed. She said no. This park is kept clean and has a lot of fun things to do for little ones. My son loves playing basketball here, and my daughter loves the playground and swings. Great spot for fun not far from our home.

Weather permitting were here daily. Cozy little park..
