This is a large park with just about everything. Plenty of parking. Multiple covered picnic areas. Plenty of open space. Volleyball and tennis courts are here. Multiple playgrounds for kids that include slides and etc. Multiple restroom locations. A really good city park with room for everyone.

A much needed lung space in the middle of the bustling City of Riverton, Salt Lake City, Utah. Clean and well maintained with extensively laid path ways and playgrounds. The park is prepared for the 4th July Independence day celebrations when we last visited with amusement parks, demarcated fireworks places etc.

Nice big park with plenty of parking (except during a huge city event of course there is never enough) and a very large pavilion! The play area has lots of fun toys and there is also a splash pad (when we were there it gets turned off at 8pm). The grassy field area is nice and big, great for games, concerts, and movies in the park! I loved the mature trees at the park.

Riverton City Park’s Fourth of July celebration delivered an incredible soundtrack thanks to talented local bands, plus a thrilling lineup of carnival rides that had everyone laughing and screaming with delight. Food vendors offered tasty, wallet-friendly options, from loaded corn dogs to funnel cakes. Parking, however, was a real headache: lots filled up well before sunset, and finding an open spot felt impossible unless you arrived hours early. The fireworks finale was nothing short of spectacular, lighting up the sky in bold reds, blues, and whites. Sadly, the night ended on a sour note when officers showed up immediately after the show and brusquely directed the crowd to leave, cutting the post-fireworks atmosphere short. If you can carpool or snag a ride, it’s still a fun event, but be prepared for parking chaos and a swift police exit.

What an awesome park. Tennis, pickleball, playground and vast open grassy areas with pavilions, restrooms and plenty of parking. Well cared for. Spectacular views. I would highly recommend this park to anyone looking to have a relaxing day with your family and friends.
