We just LOVE this dog park, but most importantly, our Daisy does! It is clean, and attracts friendly, responsible dog owners who watch their dogs. We generally go into the section for larger dogs because Daisy is 25 lbs, but she’s also been in the smaller section when the large one is empty. In the summer, you’ll find a water fountain and baby pool. In cold weather, bring your own water. If your dog enjoys running, it’s a bonanza! Be prepared for your fur baby to sleep the rest of the day!!

My wife and I are dog-park enthusiasts, and we've been to plenty throughout the Mid-Atlantic and even in the southern region. I will give Rob Stuart Memorial Dog Park a 5-star rating based on the fact that dog parks are scarce in our beloved Philadelphia. Don't get me wrong, it's a cool set up considering it's at the beginning of Center City, and you'd imagine space would be limited in a concrete metropolis like ours. It has two separate sections for small and larger dogs and both areas have turf. It overlooks I-76, literally, so you get a very cool urban atmosphere complete with a view of parts of our beautiful skyline. Usually the people who frequent the park are very friendly and most of the people pick up after their pets to help maintain the clean atmosphere this park offers. I enjoy going to this park, but I'm a bigger fans of parks with dog runs - meaning the big and little dog spaces are parallel to each other which allows the little dogs and big dogs to race each other back and forth from their respective parts (nearby Cherry Hill, New Jersey, has perhaps the best dog park in the region and is an example of what I mean.) Don't hesitate to go to Rob Stuart when you're here in Philly, as I'm sure you will enjoy yourself. Parking, though, is something you may not enjoy because it's still Center City, after all, and there rarely is any! Lol. Thanks!

Always so clean and well maintained. Also a great place for me to get some action shots.

Well, at first, I drove past the park ~ I had three babies with me. One of my fur babies did not like the astro turf (that lasted 5 minutes). The little pool was awesome. The grounds were well maintained. The people were friendly. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Really a great experience.

Nice little space to take your dog. The people who come here are friendly too. Seems like people do a good job of cleaning up after their dog too.
