Really cool. The water and trails are very well marked and it is beautiful. You’re going to see a lot of wildlife. I also have places for you to wash your boards or kayaks and lots of bike pads and maps. It’s really incredibly beautiful. Highly recommend! Five stars

We came here to run and walk and it was way better than I anticipated. The photos I saw beforehand made it seem a bit lackluster but we were pleasantly surprised! The trails are nicely kept; and the overall vibe of the place is peaceful. I especially like the tower at the north end of the preserve and how you can see the skyway bridge! One thing to note: it gets VERY HOT and there is barely any shade. The weather app said 74F but I think it felt like mid 80sF. Maybe because it is in a bit of a valley or something? But it really heats up in there. I definitely recommend downloading a map before you go if you don’t know the trails. Yes, there are ample signs along the trails but it can get a bit windy and confusing the first time you go. Nice recreation area for the kids too! I’ll definitely come back

Born and raised in Tampa and lived in the area my whole life, and this was actually my first time visiting Robinson Preserve. I’ve been seeing it online for years and it truly lived up to the hype. The boardwalks are beautiful, the views are incredible, and the tower is such a highlight. It has a lot of stairs, but once you get to the top you can see Tampa Bay and even the Sunshine Skyway. Totally worth it. There are so many trails where you can hike or bike, and a ton of calm inlet saltwater waterways where you can fish, kayak, and paddleboard. If it’s your first time paddleboarding, this is honestly the perfect place because the waters are very calm, the turns are easy, and it’s fairly shallow. You’re also surrounded by mangroves everywhere, which makes it feel peaceful and protected. The trails wind through the mangroves and open up to beautiful vistas of the water at every turn. Highly recommend this place and definitely worth the trip. I can’t believe it took me this long to go.

This is a great place for a walk or a bike ride. Lots of trails both gravel and paved. Some stretches of raised boardwalks. Not a lot of shade so bring some water. The tower was the highlight of my hike. Bring some binoculars for a nice view of the Sky Bridge.

This is one of a few places that allow dogs, so we have been using it each morning for our daily walk during our vacation. The South entry has a great trail that leads to a pier and the North entry has a trail that leads to a 40’ watch tower. Dogs can’t go on the watch tower so we took turns going up it. The trail on the South is tree lined and was cool the North trail is open and leaves you exposed to full sun.
