This is an older park, but the landscaping is beautiful. We live within walking distance so it's very convenient. The only qualm I have is the playground structure, bathrooms and water fountains. It's old and could use an upgrade like the other parks in Escondido. Mountain View Park and Kit Carson both got really nice upgraded playgrounds, so I hope they also follow through with Rod McLeod park soon. The water fountain needs to go it's really gross. And the bathrooms are also gross. For such a beautiful park the structures are crap. PLEASE upgrade soon city of Escondido!
Wonderful hidden gem on our way home. Love bringing my dogs here. A beautiful place to relax and has a runaround to exercise. Love it here!
Rob McLeod Park is wonderful! Quiet and relaxing with an amazing overlook that is awe inspiring! Grassy area for dogs, a playground for the kids, benches, picnic tables and restrooms!
Beautiful park 🌳 nicely maintained, plenty of parking. Bathrooms are usable in a pinch, though I was pleasantly surprised with there being soap in the soap dispenser. So, hand washing is doable. 🧼 Such a wonderful place to play and enjoy outside.
Replace great place to walk your dog and lots of grass area to run and train. Nice place to take family walks and to go up and see all of Escondido from their Lookout Point. Could use a couple more dog poopy dispensers great clean bathrooms nice grounds kept up very well
