Romare Bearden Park is Uptown’s best “reset square”—a place where you can step off the busy streets and instantly feel the pace slow down. ♟️🌳 The waterfall features are the signature move: multiple cascades and fountains cool the whole space down, and they look incredible against the skyline—especially when the light hits just right. 💦✨ I love how it blends art and community: it’s named for Charlotte-born artist Romare Bearden, the design pulls from his work, and the lawns/events make it feel lively without feeling chaotic. 🎨🤝 Best play is timing it with a game or show nearby—since it sits across from Truist Field, you can grab a quick walk, a photo, and a breath before heading back into the city. ⚾🚶‍♀️

Great park! There’s plenty of space to walk around, and everything is very clean. It’s perfect for a family outing. There are also lots of cafés nearby where you can stop in for a quick bite. Enjoy!

Romare Bearden Park is one of my favorite spots in Uptown Charlotte. It’s beautifully designed with open green lawns, interactive fountains, and public art that gives it a vibrant yet relaxing vibe. Whether you’re here for a walk, a picnic, or just to unwind, it always feels refreshing. The views of the skyline are fantastic, especially at sunset. There's often live music, food trucks, or small festivals on the weekends, so there’s always something going on. It’s clean, safe, and perfect for families, couples, or solo visitors. The location is also ideal—right by restaurants, museums, and the stadium. A perfect example of urban space done right.

15-20 minute drive from CLT airport. Saw a corgi chase while i was there(the corgi was running away at full speed from its owner), which was really funny. About the park, it had a nice view of the buildings surrounding the park.

Surprisingly quiet considering it's in the middle of town, surrounded by some great restaurants, walking distances to museums, Bank of America Stadium, Truist Baseball field and so much more! Enjoyed our walks there.
