I love the large grassy area and the beautiful willow tree with a bench under it. You part the branches and you're inside your own little world looking out over the lake. I would never swim there though (insert gag, lol), but it's so quiet even though it's right next to the freeway and a busy area of 175th St. Plus, it's usually empty or almost empty which is nice. Watch out for the goose poop though! My nasty dogs think they're treats, I can't.

What a truly lovely place. It's very soothing down here next to the water. It's too bad. There's only a single bench with no trees anywhere near it. There should be a big tree in the middle. The draconian crucifix is a rather interesting choice of decoration. It's bare-bones beauty shines though.

Small park with a pond at the corner of NE 175th and Meridian. Entrance and parking on 175th near I-5 exit heading south. No restroom facilities, just one bench to sit on, small parking lot (a dozen spots including disabled). Despite the almost non existent amenities, my six year old enjoyed a 30-minute visit exploring the gravel path, hanging on to the low conifer branches, and admiring the water fowls swimming in the pond (Canadian geese, mallard ducks and buffleheads). The open grassy field is marred by geese poop (so many!) so no chance of running around the space. But the side with conifer trees and gravel paths, despite being closest to the freeway, was a delight to explore. We saw a brown creeper, several songbirds, and four hummingbirds loudly chirping/whistling to each other. Recommended for a short visit.

Beautiful arboretum with a lively bog ecosystem. We saw dragonflies and a lot of spiders in August 2020. The space had a few helpful trashcans for those looking for a picnic spot and two nice benches as well. Bring a picnic blanket and sun protection as there wasn't a lot of shade.

This park is quiet and the trees are beautiful, especially the Weeping Willow by the water. The only negative being that there is duck poo everywhere.
