Well maintained and well marked trail that is shady throughout. Trail has a ton of roots, not smooth ground. Covered benches at entrance and benches throughout the trail. Dog waste receptacles. 11 educational signs with QR codes. There and back on the main trail and both loops was about 2 miles.

Underrated place in Summerville to go for a walk if you're looking to get out into nature. We have tons of nice parks in the area, but this one is perfect for if you're looking for some place a little more woodsy and secluded than the paved trails at nearby Ashley River Park.

Nice clean park— went to hike trail. Trail is clearly marked and easy to walk. The trail is directly through forest so be aware a lot of tree stumps if you are someone with physical restrictions. Perfect for a quick walk in nature. Playground looked to be for younger kids. I would say not above 9 year olds.

I debated between 4 and 5 stars and would ultimately love to give Rosebrock Park 4.5 stars. The park is well-maintained, family-friendly, and offers great amenities, but the noticeable road noise from Bacon’s Bridge Road slightly detracts from the overall experience, so I’ll stick with 4 stars. I visited the park for a solo hike and covered 2.25 miles. The trails are well-marked and nicely cleared, making them easy to navigate. The informational kiosks along the trails add an educational element, and to get the full experience, I recommend exploring the green loop as well as the yellow and red loops. Be prepared for plenty of roots along the trail, which is typical for the Lowcountry. The park also has two very nice covered picnic areas, a well-maintained playground that’s perfect for kids, and clean bathroom facilities—all of which make it a fantastic spot for families to spend a day outdoors. Overall, Rosebrock Park is a wonderful destination for families and nature lovers alike. With its combination of hiking, learning opportunities, and excellent amenities, it’s a great place to visit.

There is a lot of shade for the summer and to shield you from the crisp water wind we have here. There is a small lil stream that runs around the trail. Warmer weather I am sure there are lots of insects and wildlife to admire. Even though the water is pretty shallow there is wet life you will notice all through out.
