A hidden gem in NY/NJ area for hiking and picnic. A great blend of city and nature. You get expansive views of the skyline while still feeling removed from the noise, thanks to the river and surrounding greenery. Very peaceful and visually striking. Btw, there are plenty of parking lots.

This is a great place to relax with the family. The place is very beautiful. On one side is the river, the bridge, and views of New York City, and on the other, mountains. There's plenty of parking. You can stroll along the shore, play with the kids on the playground, or enjoy a picnic. There are tables and grills. The grounds are large and clean. I definitely recommend visiting.

Nice view, chill vibes, plenty of parking, bbqs and tables available, bathrooms, vending machine with drinks and snacks. Just the perfect spot.

Beautiful spot with stunning views of the Hudson River and George Washington Bridge. Ross Dock is well-maintained, peaceful, and perfect for picnics, small gatherings, or just relaxing with nature. Plenty of space, picnic tables, and parking available. Great walking paths nearby and a nice breeze off the river. Highly recommended for a weekend outing with family or friends!

Very nice place, right on the water has clean(relatively) bathrooms, a lot of open space to play ball, dog friendly… Not a lot of tables and grills so you need to come before 10AM to find an empty table/grill. BUT if you’re bringing your own table/chairs/shade… you don’t care… anytime works! You only pay for parking (parkmobile app) or there are like machines on site… it’s by the hour 2.5$/h weekend, 1.5$/h weekday… Overall excellent place.
