Absolutely Love this place a fantastic place for mountain biking or hiking with the dog. It's never too busy but can be hard to find parking by the entrance. But they have additional parking by the pavilion just down the road. My favorite part of this trail is all of the wooden bridge and switch backs and the peace.

Nice big area to park has a nice big pavilion plenty of picnic tables and a restroom. Accessible to both red and yellow bike trails. Can also get to the Sugar Bush hiking trail. Nice little trickling waterfall. Trails stay near the streams. Appropriate hiking shoes. There are a lot of tree roots on the trail.

I love the trails at Royalview. I like days like today when it's closed to bikes best, but there are hikers' only trails, not just mountain bike trails. It's challenging but not ridiculously so. It's also stunning, especially in the fall.

Trails change direction on the daily so make sure to check that out! And if the lower lot is full there’s lots more up top, just keep going up the road—and watch for bikes crossing a little ways up!

Hiked this trail a couple of weeks ago with my Aunt and Uncle who came up to visit from Florida. We really enjoyed ourselves and the beautiful weather.
