Most of our neighbors walk their dogs through this park, just like my wife and I do! It's a nice all year round. A place for kids to play, a couple of softball fields and batting practice cage.
DGS lost, but it was a good game. Saw my nephew in action!
We enjoy our DG neighborhood parks! End of April to beginning of May 2021, it's a little tricky to access Powers the usual sidewalk route due to construction on Springside. The layout and equipment is nice, there's a component of it boarded up when we visited the last few times this spring.
Families bring their kids daily, mask optional, but everyone maintains safe distance and wipes down equipment. My wife has even brought Lysol spray on occasions. 😅 Everyone's safety is a priority.
Nice having local parks that are being maintained. Now maybe fixing the Springside bridge that leads to this park can be finished sometime in the next 5 yrs at the rate they are working on it.
