Definitely a unique park unlike any other. There are two distinct sections: one with three climbing structures and a few sets of swings, and another "safety town" section with little buildings, roadway, caboose and two additional play structures. There appears to also be a small splash pad area, but like other parts of the playground, it seems in poor condition and disused. And that's the overall theme here: a lot of great play options, but many are in need of some TLC: broken swings, missing parts, fallen blocks on the retaining walls, stripped out electronics from the railway crossing lights, and the like. Yet there was a parks crew there doing mulching and planting, so they clearly try to keep it up. The safety town has a board with a long list of sponsors so there is investment here. There were a few administrative and faculty buildings on the premises next to the small parking lot, including washrooms, but they were locked. In general the entire park was well shaded and had lots of space for sitting. Given the number of kids there so early, it is clearly a neighborhood favorite, so I hope they continue to keep this place in good shape.

This park is far from great. This park looks like it does not get maintained at all. Theres garbage in the sandbox, theres bricks near the swings, theres swings missing, chipped paint. In the center of it all is an old playground with broken wood. This park is a disaster and a disgrace to the community. Cicero can do way better. To the residents, also do better in not damaging the playground. Supervise your children to not damage whats built for us.

Surrounded by a short walk/bike path, this is a great local park for the young ones!
