Nice dog park with two shaded and one unshaded play areas. There's water fountains for the dogs in all three areas. Most dogs are well behaved with attentive owners.

Have always had a great experience until today. For some reason my dog got ganged up on by two dogs . Fortunately my dog is faster than the two that targeted him and we were able to safely exit. Always pay very close attention when going to a dog park, don't panic if there is an altercation. Animals respond to your actions and reactions. Don't forget, no matter how sweet and wonderful our pets are, they are still animals and your responsibility. ✌️♥️

This is our favorite local dog park. Our Border Collie Freya is loaded with excitement when she goes to see her friends there. We also have several friends there. The Parks Department is working on adding an agility course and increasing the tree canopy, which is a major improvement for the hot Virginia Beach summers.

Well I would have to that all the dog parks in Virginia Beach have a similar lay out wise. Some parks just have more of one thing. This park has more trash cans throughout the park. Has a lot of trees , which is a huge plus in my books. The fenced in area for small dogs has better grass then the one for large dogs. If you come during the week around 5 o’clock it is pretty busy. I would say the greatest down fall to this park is the regulars that come every day and spend hours here. They kind of act like they own the place.

I love this dog park, there are 3 different areas to choose from with tons of running room for the dogs. My dogs have a blast every time we go!
