Stunning views of the sunrise, morning fog and early spring flowers. Lots of rolling hills, no restrooms, no water, limited shade. Park opens at 8am but I wanted to catch the sunrise, so I started on a random trailhead on Hillside Blvd

Fantastic hiking with beautiful views of SF and the Bay Area. I absolutely recommend visiting, and would suggest the summit loop trail.

This setting evokes memories of my hometown, especially when I am walking the trails or seated on a bench, observing the butterflies and bees as they feed on flowers, immersed in the melodic sounds of nature. I visit this location during my lunch break almost every day. The parking fee is $6, you need to have the exact change or you could use your credit card.

Great views of SF and the Bay Area. The trails could be windy, have an extra layer, also have a hat and sunglasses because you'll be exposed to sunshine on most trails. $6 will get you in- cash, check or card. Usually they have a ranger, you can even pay contactless. Good size parking lot with overflow parking if you pass under the main road. Clean bathroom, running water, picnic areas and nice wildlife.

Tip: when you pay at the entrance, the third option is for seniors. Be prepared for all kinds of weather. I love the wide-open space and stunning views— right next to the city. Restrooms are at the parking lot, and there’s a mix of both paved and rocky trails.
