Best experience adopting our newest family member - we watched her go live on their adoption website and three days later, she was ours. Thank you Monique for introducing us to Penny Lane (aka Brigit aka Pepper) and taking sweet and gentle care of us during the interview and meet and greet. I will always remember her kindness and enthusiasm for adoption. Thank you to the crew who cared for our girl when she was brought in; spaying her and holding her with loving hands on her little body helped ease her into her new home. Staff like Monique helped complete this family and I am sure she will continue to help so many more find their forever homes.

The Oceanside branch of The San Diego Humane Society is a great place. The staff are compassionate and helpful. It is obvious how much they care for the animals who come through their doors. It's clean and well organized. I highly recommend that folks looking for a pet to brighten their lives visit there and choose to adopt a pet in need of a second chance. And don't forget to bring a leash and collar! 😊🐶🐱

We brought several puppies in for vaccinations at the Oceanside San Diego Humane Society, and Ame was absolutely incredible. Although they were short staffed, Ame went above and beyond—stepping right into action and making sure every puppy was vaccinated. We are so grateful for the care, dedication, and compassion shown to our puppies.

Hello recently I’ve had a terrible experience with “humane” society on Friday, may 23 my 11mo old puppy Dipper was euthanized. we called asking for details they said it was for health issues, not true at all, they then told us it was for behavioral issues also not true. We asked for more information about the process and it was the most ridiculous procedure, they walk a dog and if it shows any type of reaction it’s unable to be adopted. which means the dog gets euthanized that is signed of by a “trainer” that’s doesn’t doesn’t even check up on the dog, they didn’t have our calls on their records like they are supposed to they didn’t even give us a notice which we even asked them to give us if dipper was not adoptable but they didn’t do any of that. This facility needs a re-evaluation on their “specialist”.
