Pretty, very quiet, well marked trails with a small creek. Be advised, hunting is allowed with permit, so wear high visibility clothing during hunting season and be very cautious with any dogs.

Nice little walking trails through the woods and over some small streams. There were some parts of trail C that were quite mucky and muddy. (Mid May) We very nearly lost our shoes on more than one occasion but all in all it was a fun walk.

So far it's a nice lil place to hike and hunt. I wish Glenville didn't charge me as a Rotterdam resident $25.00 to hunt here, but at least it's not a busy place and it's a close by small little getaway.

Nice place. Strange seeing people walking their dogs during hunting season in the woods.

I’m always looking for new trails to hike and I am never impressed. But I have to say this was a gorgeous little hike through the woods. It feels like you are deeply immersed in the wilderness. There are a couple different trails and paths to choose from (one seeming to be across the road and the other one right near the parking area). We choose the red marked trail near parking. A couple things that we noted is that the red trail just awkwardly seems to end down by the stream. And it almost seems like the trail continues past the stream, but nothing is marked and the trail becomes unkempt. This was disappointing to us because we wanted to keep going. Lastly, (which wouldn’t bother most people), is that the red trail does have a slight incline on the way back. I’m currently pregnant and I had to stop quite a few times to catch my breath on the way back. But this isn’t something that I think would bother most people. Overall it was a wonderful hike with gorgeous scenery (especially during the fall) and we plan on coming back to hike the additional trails!
