Covered playground is great for toddlers - varied ages and skill play. Have came here multiple times with our toddler at various ages - she has had a great time. The giant shade is nice to keep cool while the sun is out. Bathrooms with 50 feet of playground entrance. Very clean and well kept when we've been here.

I visited Sands Park today with my family, and it’s fantastic! The new Pickleball courts are smooth and well-marked, perfect for all skill levels. The basketball court is high-quality, and the playground are top notch to keep kids entertained for hours. The seating areas are comfortable and shaded, making it a great place to relax. Clean restrooms are a big plus. Overall, Sands Park is a wonderful addition to Cape Coral, offering fun and relaxation for everyone. Highly recommend!

This park should be called scooter park with how many families come out to ride the long sidewalk path on their razors. It’s wonderful! The playground is new and in perfect condition with a huge shade canopy with her it making tons of shade! The playground has a great size for the kids to run around and lots of swings. Also at the park is a pickle ball court, tennis court, cornhole area, basket ball court and tons of field space. They have a picnic gazebo area next to the playground and bathrooms. And a few more, so lots of space for parties and families to sit. Very well planned out. The neighborhood is quiet and has low traffic. The parking lot isn’t big but we didn’t have a hard time finding parking, though I could see that becoming an issue later with the mere size of this place! I gave it a 4 simply because it has no trees grown up yet to provide additional shade, as they are all babies it does give the feeling of a field but ton of trees have been planted and will create nice ambience in a decade.
