This is one of the older parks in Roseville and is a little bit more run down than most of the other parks. One of its main draws are the two baseball fields with bleachers. There are two small playground areas with swings and slides located on the east side of the park behind the baseball diamonds. The park also has an off-leash dog park with nice lawns for the dogs to run around on. There's a covered picnic area near the dog park. There are restrooms and a drinking fountain here. A multi-use bike and walking trail traverses between the park and nearby linda creek. There is plenty of parking in the park parking lot There is also a bus stop located here.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem while trying to kill some time as I waited for a friend who had a Dr. appointment. My pup and I needed a refreshing spot after a 3.5 hour drive. Boy this park doesn't let you down! It's huge and has a boardwalk that runs along a beautiful creek! Water level is low in October, but it served it's purpose for a refreshing pick me up for my pup and me! I don't have human kids so I never pay attention to the fact if there is or is not a playground for kids per se, but helloooo! It's a huge park! I'm sure you parents can figure out a way to entertain the kiddie's with all that open area and grass!

10-15 pound Salmon Runs up Dry Creek The video was taken from the bike path along Dry Creek in Roseville at Saugstad Park. The bike path starts at Saugstad Park (near Riverside blvd and Dudley) and ends at Sierra College Blvd. Coho salmon run up from the ocean thru the delta and the Sacramento River. They exit near Discovery Park and somehow swim thru Gardenland Del Paso Natomas Rio Linda Antelope to spawn in Roseville and Rocklin area

I find the open space and running creek highly conducive to a great time getting more in tune with nature. Wildlife such as ducks, cranes, fish, and many varieties of birds can be quite entertaining. The trails are easy and accessible to all who wish to take a walk in refuge from the ever encroaching suburban subdivision hellscape and strip mall mentality that surrounds us. Peace and Light be with all.

Did not feel safe parking on the street near trail entrance to this park; seemed like we were being watched by some shady characters. My daughter is afraid of dogs so no way could I take her here - too many unleashed dogs running around and swimming in creek. I didn’t feel threatened by the few homeless around, just seemed to be an un-policed area.
