The park is beautiful but the porta potties don't get cleaned as they should be by the city. Honestly they should have built a restroom that flushes if the porta potty option never worked out. Just my opinion though.
This park was very fun to hang out at. Not many people know about this park but there were a group of friends tailgating next to the picnic area. The area is nice and shaded and bathrooms are attached. Very big grassy area half is shaded and other half is not. Great for soccer games and football. Jungle gym and swings close to the picnic area. Basketball court is next to the picnic area. Everything is close to each other if you brought your family you can keep a close eye on kids no matter where you are.
Great park but the homeless people in this area is always threatening me and my kids. I've told the police months ago and there's more homeless than before. They sleep in the abandoned buildings and use drugs here. Please spread the word
I have not been there in a long time, my oldest daughter started her soccer career at this park. She played for 10yrs and I loved watching her play with alot of sacrifices, those were the best sacrifices and the best 10yrs I watched her play.
The park used to be nice until the homeless took it over. They destroyed the restrooms, and made the place unsafe for families to bring their kids.
