It’s a great park with several different areas. There is an archery, disc golf course, a launching area for kayaking. Several overnight campsites, and lots and lots of picnic space there are grills covered areas shelters. The trails are very clean, paved and gravel. The best part was getting to go up the lookout tower and see downtown Columbus on a clear day.

Beautiful park, I love the trails by the river, the kids playground, Swings by pond, observation decks, fire tower (it is a good excercise to climb up it, tho it's locked up for rangers only at the very top) love the canoe acceeas and campsites. Even tho I have not used the canoe access or camp sites, they are a nice addition to the park. I would love to use them if I could. Nice bathrooms by the playground, as well with water fountains & has other paths in park, besides by the river.

This is a nice park for families to enjoy. The playground is designed for older children 5 and up. There are several picnic spots with tables available. The trails were not paved where we started and not accessible for people in wheelchairs. This park is pretty big, so there could be other parts that are paved. There are fire pits available to use as well. The path to the bridge consists of mulch and is pretty easy-except for the steep hill at the start of the trail. Springtime is great for seeing all of the wildflowers!

Absolutely awesome time. Group of us jumped in at Scioto Grove Metro Park Upper Canoe/Kayak launch in Kayaks. Floated down 7 or so miles (about 2 1/2 hr float) to Mackey Ford Wildlife area ramp and got out. Great trip water was low in spots but never had to portage through. Seen Eagle flying high, stopped at a sand bar for some fuel and finished strong. Can't wait to go again after some rain hits to see the flow. High recommended. #YakOn

Beautifully kept. Amazing archery range with 3d course in the woods and target bags. There is a nice pond to fish near the range. Only negative thing to say is that they put disc golf course right next to archery. Both archers and disc golfers feel it's not a she combination
