When I finally found the small dog park area hidden at the back, I was happy. However, the first thing I saw when I pulled in was the section on the left "for small and timid dogs only". That's what it says on the blue and white sign on the gate. Looking in what I saw was mostly large dogs. But wanting my Chihuahua dog to have a break off the highway, I proceeded. However, he was mobbed by insistent large dogs right inside the gate. I remarked to a woman who was right in front of me with a large dog that it was large dog. And why was it in this section and she became livid and I realized that the small part is not the dogs, but the nasty dog owners. One person there said that there really was another small dog park on the other side of the parking lot and I left to find it. And yes there is another small dog park behind the large dog park on the right hand side. It is a very big small dog park with lots of shade trees. Lots of chairs and a little bit of agility stuff. Mostly dirt. I suspect this park is heavily loved and used. My dog was fairly happy there and those dogs were basically small.

My dog is a Service Animal and she is a bit skiddish about playing with others, since she has been attacked twice. This particular dog park had 3 play area's. 1 for small dog's upto 39lbs, 2 for bigger dogs over 40lbs, and then there was the timid dog area. All sizes and breeds. Sassy had fun running around with a chihuahua, a medium size dog as well as a German Shepherd mix. She felt comfortable in that environment. There were so many balls and toys in this area. She definitely will be returning with her cousin Rocky a German Shepherd mix.

I think this is the best dog park in the area. Pros - large, separate side for small dogs and third section across the parking lot for timid dogs (though honestly I don’t think anybody pays attention to that). Cons - there can be a lot of gopher holes, during the rainy season there will be patches of muddy water, and some doggy owners do not clean up their dogs poop so i have done that for them at times.

Always an awesome park. The dogs are ALWAYS friendly, unlike most of the owners, lacking the most basic manners 😑 Pitbulls are the best 😊 always so sweet. Got a nail trim at the mobile dog groomers that park here $20. Super nice, gentle couple 💜 forgot to ask their name. $60 basic wash and fluff and they go to you.

Went during the week, mid afternoon and it was not crowded, my good boy had so much fun running and really stretching those legs!! He tired himself out very quickly! There are so many trees offering shade so after some time playing fetch it was very nice to relax in one of the many comfortable chairs available and watch the pup explore. There was a big box of tennis balls as you enter, that was so nice too! Loads of balls were scattered around, so you don't have to walk across the field when doggo doesn't feel like bringing it back! This was a wonderful experience for our fur baby and we had a great time too!
