One of, if not the best, park in town! Beautiful scenery and location. Pond is super cool - lots of ducks, geese and fish! I have even seen a muskrat or something like that there multiple times!! The trails just at the park itself are cool - they go around the pond, which is quite sizable. It goes up into the woods, and up rocks and then meets back on the side of the pond by the caves. The trails that lead away from the park are amazing. The one that goes out to Springfield Lake/Nature Center area is an amazing bike ride and my favorite trail in Springfield! If you have a chance go watch the bats at one of the events! Most incredible experience! Springfield has amazing parks and this is one of them!

Small but beautiful park to walk and enjoy the outdoors and scenery. Nice walking path with shade for the dogs. Great little break spot.

One of the better parks in Springfield. Always enjoy taking walks here. Good trails. Sad the bridges are closed right now though. When the runoff fills after rain it makes a nice little river to wade in. Lots of shaded spots. Cute playgrounds. The Pavillion in the middle is good for gatherings. Overall, definitely recommend this park to visitors

Sequiota Park was such an excellent and fun experience while I was visiting Springfield for a vacation. This city park was much more exciting than many other regional parks, or even state parks that I have visited. The caves near the back side of the park were my favorite. They were closed to enter them when I was there because of the health of the bats, but still seeing them was really great. There's a nice large pond that ends with a small waterfall, which is beautiful. Lots of great hiking trails in the woods, or There's regular paved paths around the park as well.

I absolutely love this park!!!! Probably my favorite park in Springfield! I can remember coming to this park as a little kid and now I bring my little ones here! They keep is super clean and maintained well! It's absolutely beautiful all year around! Great walking trails and hiking paths! They also have a great playground for the kiddos and some caves to explore. Oh and the geese wondering around own the park, so please don't let your children chase them or feed them cause it can make them sick. 😁
