Lots of peaceful walking to be done here. I do wish there was some more rest stops along the western side trails. But for the most part it the days I’ve been walking here it’s been pleasant windy. I’ll see what this place has to offer in the other seasons but definitely bring lots of water. Me and my two boys who are 7 and 12 have no problem walking out here for 3hr easily.

I took a guided hike that was really informative about the wetlands restoration process and local wildlife and vegetation. It was about a 3.8 mile hike. The area had a few stopping points along the way to sit if needed. During November, there was some.shade but for most of the year, there would be no shade. Make sure to take your water! There were nice restrooms at the trailhead. Dogs cannot go on the wetlands park area. Highly recommend!

7 wetlands area has nice trails but not marked clearly or not enough information for the hikers. But again it was nice place to hike and see some wildlife.

Wandered around and let the kiddos run. Such a nice place. Even though its in a busy area i couldnt hear anything but nature. At first the only reason to go into the gates was to see where the water was coming from, super cool and tranquil to see the bubbling water. Would be neat if there was some photos of what it looked like before reclamation but still fun overall. Only saw two other people the entire 3 hours we wandered.
