Love the friendly people and their dogs. We may not remember the people's names, but we get familiar with their dogs! Shepard Dog Park is my go-to play park for me and my gentle giant.

It's a great dog park if you have a social dog and you can for sure meet other people as well. But if you prefer a quieter more private experience the maxwell park will probably suit you better. A bit too busy for my liking, but it is a nice dog park.

Large park with plenty of running space for my 2 dogs. It was a little muddy from the recent rain but that was kind of expected. I take my dogs here as often as I can to get them their exercise and to make other "doggy friends"

Dog was trying to have fun....but there is always that ONE wet towel. I've heard from friends to beware of that one person who shouldn't be at the dog park. Unfortunately, I ran into that person my first time there. She admitted to a friend to "being out there for 2 hours and my dog is tired" while she sat on her phone the entire time ignoring her dog, who was growling at every visitor, likely because the poor dog was tired and ready for his "mother" to stop taking selfies and ignoring her. She then continued to scold the other visitors for their dogs "growling" (which they were NOT doing, it was her dog) when in fact they were trying to play with her dog, who was growling. Unfortunately with only one open dog park in the area, it will be hard to escape at least one irresponsible, delusional dog owner. Everyone else was fantastic - but I soon discovered why they left after a few minutes. Get those emotions ready to deal with a least one wet towel Karen!

It was fun, lots of space for our boy to run. But it had its issues Mainly most were not keeping an eye on their dogs. Or respecting the different dog areas. There are two areas, one for large dogs and one for small. People had thier small dogs in the large area and their large dogs in the small area. One dog was mounting every dog in sight Another kept starting fights and it was only taken out of the area after the fith fight A small puppy in the large dog area was getting steam rolled by the big dogs. If you go, take your dog to the correct area and keep a close eye on it because when people fail watch theirs you never know what can happen
