The play area is awesome with something for literally every age range from walking to teens. The only hang-up is the sand. I mean, it's so unsanitary. I ONLY go to Silvergate bc my kids love it. It's time to upgrade to wood chips, Silvergate. Other than that, there is a huge sunken in field on one side, an open walk, a grassy area, plenty of trash receptacles, and seating. Parking might be an issue if a lot of people attended at the same time AND day shifters were returning home from work, but I haven't had any issues with parking yet. Overall, it's a nice park, worth the visit and deserving of 4 stars.

Beautiful park. No bathrooms. Just wish there was shade for the summer! But tons of fun for the kids when the weather allows. Has an open field and basketball hoops. Sand in the playground, swings and lots of slides!

Awesome park back inside a nice neighborhood. Well maintained and has some unique features that make it a destination for my 5 year old. this is one of her top 10 places to spend evenings.

Sivergate Park is about a five minute drive from my home. My children love going there. They like to ride their bikes or scooters around the park.

There's no off-street parking but there are plenty of spaces you can park along the curb. At the Enid Ave side, there are grassy slopes leading you the central fields of this park. The grass was not trimmed and stood high- mosquito alert! While there are no restrooms, I did see a singular water fountain by the playground. There are also some picnic tables, and there is also a ramada by the playground where you can cool off. Unfortunately, there are no sidewalks in the park, unless you count the sidewalk that encircles the park.
