Simmers-Young (2nd entrance Dog Park)

Very nice, quite spacious, but there was no dog when I went. I'm going to keep trying to get my Hannah to find someone to play with.

This place is awesome to bring your pooches. It has a huge yard with separate spaces for big and little dogs. This place also has water fountains for the pups. Only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars is because there is red ants everywhere. I was here for not even 2 minutes and I got bit over 13 times... Be very careful where you’re walking and you’ll be fine.

“The park itself is decent, and the space for dogs is fine, but I feel obligated to warn people to be extremely careful with personal items and trash. During one visit, I threw items away properly, only to later find that someone had gone through the trash and dumped my belongings out onto a bench. I’m not someone who leaves personal things lying around, so that was unsettling and intrusive. On top of that, I witnessed human feces left on the curb covered with a napkin, which was disturbing and disrespectful. There are children who come to this park, and behavior like that is unacceptable. Because of that experience, I no longer stop here at all. It’s an okay park on the surface, but awareness and caution are necessary.”

How are people allowed to drive their vehicles all up in the grass and on the sidewalk with people supposed to walk jog and exercise? If you go to here for a walk jog with your family or pet you will most likely nine times out of 10 get run over like me.

Nice park, not difficult to find from US17N. Nice location, have several fields to play game and also a section that can be rented for parties.
