Sleepy Hollow Park

Nice quiet park. Barely hear the cars going by in the morning. Has a nature trail to walk in, a nearby river with a bridge. It's nice to watch people walking through to get to the metra station.

This is a medium-sized park, with fieldhouse ,(including outside water fountains), playground with swings (one appears to be set up to protect special-needs users) & jungle gym; on the other side of the fieldhouse, fields set up for sports and a basketball hoop set up at the end of the parking lot. I come for the "nature trail" which runs from the parking lot along our fork of the Chicago River to the pedestrian bridge over the stream. It's an easy walk, I do three lengths and then complete the loop back to my car (near basketball). It's very nice for my own level, and often I see families with kids of various ages using the appropriate sites. If you live nearby, check it out!

Very calming and peaceful morning. Beautiful park with good size playground for kids. Unfortunately couldn’t go to the trail. Maybe next time.

We love this comfy park. It is never crowded, as not many people know about it, yet, daily visited by kids, and dog walkers.

I wish I was a terrible person to give this park a 1 star review, so it doesn’t become popular… but it really is a great spot.
