Be aware backup traffic for parking & Correction on fee it’s $11 not $10 BUTTT it was absolutely super WORTH the wait & the price … it’s a little oasis/island for your furries & you to enjoy together… you’ll meet friendly-social people & the view is spectacular… the park ranger was absolutely FRIENDLY, she offered water on her rounds & just really a nice place to enjoy.. couldn’t enjoy the boardwalk “furries” not allowed after 10:00 am but I WILL BE BACK to enjoy the well maintained area to soak in all of it !!! Highly recommend for a day out with your “furry baby” you will see many in the area!! Yes they have restroom, wash stations for you & your furry !!!! It was a wonderful day out for me & my furry🐶💛🩵

The place is simply stunning! A must see if you enjoy walks on a number of boardwalks or dipping your toes in the water on a warm and sunny day. You’ll see surfers and an abundance of wildlife that thrives here. The sunrise is gorgeous and so peaceful. In the afternoon, take a break and enjoy a bag lunch at one of the several picnic pavilions that’s available here. Dogs are welcome on the dog beach. Restrooms are also available.

Smyrna Dunes Dog Beach 5 star, Officer Rachael Brown with animal control gets 10 stars , she refilled our water bottles on the beach when we realized we did not have enough to last for LuLu's doggie adventure day. It was our first time there, and while it is a bit of a hike to get to the beach, man it was soo awesome. We will be back, and hope to see Officer Rachael Brown with Volusia Animal Control again. What a knowledgable and friendly person. The world needs more Rachael Browns in it :)

Are you kidding. This is the most baller place. I went for the first time 3 days ago. I have gone everyday since. I wont tomorrow because it will literally be freezing cold but otherwise I would. This has been a riotous orgy of beautiful dogs and people. Its a cool place so if you or your dog isnt coming to chill please dont mess it up for the rest of us. Its cool you have a rescue but other dogs shouldnt incur trauma as a result of your dogs trauma. I have no trouble publicly shaming a dog owner for being a fool and endangering others. My voice carries a long way.

We love walking the boardwalk here! Its a wonderful walk to unwind. We also just became dog owners so we learned we can bring Milo to the dog beach here! He loved it so much!!
