Someone else said it’s a vibe - and it really is. The crowd is largely local and a nice mix of families, couples, friend groups, and singles just looking to swim and soak up some rays. Very chill and respectful. While it does get busy, it doesn’t feel overcrowded, particularly the farther towards the pier you go. It’s a wide beach with pale golden sand and clear, turquoise water with minimal seeweed. Cruise ships pass by occasionally on their way out to sea, which also adds to the charm. There are ice cream shops and restaurants nearby, as well as a playground and a nice walking/running path next to the beach. A really nice place to spend an afternoon.

Nice beach 🏖️, the sand is beautiful after they rake the seaweed each morning. The waves 🌊 are small relative to west coast or Hawaii so no real surfing. Over makes for a nice meet up and October break with friends. Would recommend visiting at least once.

White sand beautiful turquoise water. The day was sunny and breeze. Free parking near by and plenty of areas along the beach to sit up umbrellas and just relax.

A great beach for families! The sand is clean, water is gentle, and there’s plenty of space for kids to play. Very peaceful and well maintained.

Warm water, soft, white sand. Minimal seaweed. Just a lot of people. Come prepared with chairs, umbrella, drinks, sunscreen to enjoy longer times. Nice restaurant options nearby!
