Great walking and running paths, children’s playground, covered pavilion, roller hockey rink, soccer fields, disc golf course, doggie parks, workout circuit, rest rooms, water fountains, basketball courts, and portable nets for pickle ball games on either the hockey rink or basketball courts. Grounds are well kept, except for the large doggie park, which tends to be sandy, muddy and full of cockle burrs.

A great place to hangout, watch kids play, have a picnic, or watch the 4th of July fireworks! Ample parking, shuttle service, efficient crowd and traffic controls! A very well organized event by the city and its citizens, who are also very respectful of each other's space and comfort.

Nice trail, shaded and stroller friendly. Restrooms are on site and are clean. Covered picnic shelters and tables. Large park area has a large athletic field, a hockey field, a disc golf course. Lots of area to explore. We will come back and explore more another day and I will update my review then

Hiking Trail Review Fan Branch Trail - 3.6 Miles Large free lot with easily marked trails. This is a community park and pretty crowded. There are many interlocking trails so you can extend the trail as much as you desire. Workout stations all around the trail. Many picnic areas and hammocks. Very nice afternoon walking location.

The park feels rather empty—almost like a space without purpose. Unless you bring recreational equipment or already know how to make the most of it—perhaps through organized social activities or community events—there isn’t much to enjoy here. In terms of access, the nearest exit toward Highway 40 is quite inconvenient and potentially dangerous. It requires a U-turn at a blind corner where speeding cars often appear unexpectedly, posing a real safety risk. A safer alternative would be to exit through the residential community instead, where traffic conditions are more controlled and visibility is better. My Perspective: This park seems to have great potential but lacks activation. With thoughtful planning—like adding interactive facilities, sports areas, or hosting community gatherings—it could become a more vibrant and engaging public space. Safety around access points should also be a priority for local authorities, as ease and safety of entry often shape people’s overall impression and willingness to visit.
