Southlawn Park

Southlawn park on it's own is beautiful, big and bold but I am really surprised that a nice neighborhood like this with HOA will not have a public restroom which is available for the residents when they go play.There is one dirty and terrible one to which I believe it's been out of service for over a year. I would rate the park as a 5 if this amenities was available.

Excellent location central to the south lawn community (Reunion). Park play area, pare field and stage availability. Pool is seasonal. Pool access is from 10 am to 4 or 5 pm most days.

UPDATE: after visiting this pool, my entire family broke out in a horrible rash and an infection. The lifeguards don't clean and who knows when the chemicals were last checked. Toddlers without swim diapers, bugs, hazy water.....this pool is hazardous to public health. Great pool and quieter then the other pool, but for the amount of taxes and HOA we pay, could someone actually clean the pool!!!! The water is hazy with debris floating everywhere. Gross and dirty!

I visited my son who lives in reunion. While walking his dog we ventured around this park. Even with the recent snow we found the sidewalk cleared. I appreciated that there was no irritating salt put down as I had to avoid the salted areas near his condo due to the irritation it caused the dogs feet. Nice poop bag and disposal space at the park. I am always disappointed to see that all dog owners don't make use of this service. That is the reason for 4 stars. Nice open space, playground and pool for warmer days.
