My dogs loved this dog park. I didn't understand why there are two 'tree islands' inside the park but my dogs showed me. One dog will run to the opposite side of the island where she can't be seen and the other dog will chase her. They played hide an seek. Congratulations to the designer. As mentioned by others, the sand and gravel is a drawback but I don't know what alternative is available.

This dog park is all sand and gravel. A great spot to throw a ball and have a dog go after it. It is on a slope so there's a little bit of effort involved getting around in it. The one thing I noticed was there is no parking really around the dog park. You have to park in front of people's houses. I suppose they're used to it. There is no water for the dogs and only one bench for anyone to sit on. There is no separation between small dogs and larger dogs.

I’ve been here twice with my dog. The first time it was empty. It’s a fairly big dog park. I felt bad for my dog because he was all alone. Second time there was a family with two very aggressive dogs that went nuts before we made it through the first gate. The kids were throwing rocks and I wasn’t in the mood for any of it. Aside from that the park itself is nice, it’s secure, on a hill and seemed well maintained.

Clean and friendly environment for unleashing your pet. This park is in a green space in the Southshore neighborhood. It is small but sufficient to give your pet some off-leash time.

Nice space but need to put down something less dusty/dirty on the ground to keep the doggies clean.
