We arrived to the park mid afternoon via scooter, set our rides down near an old tree, and proceeded to walk the significant trail system. The lake drew our attention and served as excellent bird habitat. We didn’t see anyone fishing at the time but it seems the lake is set up to facilitate that activity. The concrete observation decks with great views of the lake were wonderful, and we appreciated being able to sneak beneath those and find private spots to spend together.

Really love this park for a morning walk, the pond with the ducks and geese is charming and paths are well maintained with plenty of benches.

This park seems safe enough. We were parked here for a BBQ at 11 and by 1 we had a ticket on our car :( So we will be visiting other parks. Should be noted, quite a few unhoused here, but seemed harmless.

The pool was closed for some reason but they cleaned up the park up pretty well. I used to come here all the time but it's changed. Some randoms fishing in the pond, doesn't seem like it would be safe at night.

Always a great experience. We love the outer perimeter track (about a mile around) the mature trees and big pond make it a perfect urban nature space. (Photos taken by a friend)
