This is the neighborhood playground/park. You always see families in there not real big but it’s well kept and they’re always kids in there practicing and football or something like that. It’s a place to go. There’s even a parking lot on the side.

I played in his park as a young boy, 6-7 years old, around later 1950's. Used to be a stripped out jet airplane you could climb around in at the entrance. There was also an area in the back with water sprinklers were kids could play in. I lived on the corner of Springdale and N. Park (house no longer there). Great memories.

The park is very well kept and quiet. Has a great playground for young kids, a great walking track, basketball courts and a small open field area. If you want to go to a park that is not too busy, I definitely recommend it.
