This is a small, bluff- side park overlooking the river and Pacific Flyway. Despite being not well cared for, with ragged grass and many ground squirrels, it has a gorgeous view and is an excellent place for bird watching. It is a quiet place that allows spotting of multiple species, including many migrating waterfowl and shorebirds as well as acorn woodpeckers and many raptors.

I love coming here and bringing my friends. I enjoy showing off the amazing view! Not many people know this park so it's lonely most the time with exception of lunch hour when most people from nearby offices come. There is an opening with a trail going down to where you can take a walk or even do some fishing.

A hidden gem looking out from the Palm Bluffs. Small in size but giant in viewing the San Joaquin River. You can see Valley Children's Hospital on the other bank. I enjoyed watching all kinds of birds flying near the river. Excited to plan a trip to walk down along the river and see more of the San Joaquin River Parkway.

No shade so I would go there on the dry time of fall/winter/spring (spring is kind of pushing it though). Went during January and even with clouds, I was sweating a lot. Great place to run or bike around. It does have a post that says it is private property though... but just go beyond that and you can find plenty of worn out trails that takes you around the water banks.
