Members only park with keycode entry, so I was only able to take pictures from outside Large space, mostly grass. Water, trash abd bags. Can't say much else, but I think dog parks should be public and free.

Such a clean and lovely dog park! You have to apply to join and show proof of all vaccinations. Huge relief that you are actually with other dogs who are vaccinated… Has a very cute dog fountain for if your pup is thirsty too! All the bad reviews left no comment and probably don’t like that you have to apply - plenty of other dog parks in the area to go to! Spencer’s definitely has a nice sense of security and all owners are very vigilant of their pups.

Been here many times since 2012. The facilities are clean, well kept for and the dog park is secure and usually used.

Membership required. Lame. We were on a road trip and I wanted to let the pup have a run but the gate was locked. I hope it's not expensive, literally just a fenced area no different than countless other free and open dog parks. (fine, it's a nice looking fence but still lame).

Very disappointed with how the dog park works here. You need to apply, show vaccnation docs, and pay a fee for a membership and then they give you a code to get in. Very elitist. People won't even let you in because they'll get ratted on and get their own memberships revoked. Not how a dog park is supposed to work. New Canaan isn't even fancy enough to require something like that (nor should any town). Sad and a gross display of false self-importance to "keep out the riff-raff". They say it's for "safety" but this is the only instance I've ever witnessed where you have to pay to use a dog park, and I've been to quite a few in suburban and city parks. Don't support this by applying for and funding this repugnant policy. Parks on public land should be kept public; it's a municipal resource. If I can freely walk into the park and use other services offered like racket ball courts, soccer fields, and forrest trails, there's no reason a dog park should be barred off like this. Totally unacceptable. Also got laughed at by a petty old woman because I didn't have a code. So, you do the math with the kind of people who patronize this "pay-to-play" dog park. Don't go there.
